About Me and My Strat
I love strats. Not just the original Fender strats, but pretty much any guitar that has a strat-shaped body style. It’s just so curvy and comfy and nice to play, it’s hard for me to imagine playing any other basic guitar shape. I have my own soapbox on my blog and personal website, where I can wax lyrical about all things strat whenever I feel like it. But am I the only person who really loves the strat shape? I highly doubt it. Am I the only one who loves to talk about my guitar? I highly doubt it. So I thought, “Why not put up a website for fellow strat lovers to talk about themeselves and their own guitars?” The result was this site.
What do I get out of doing this? I get to have fun running a website about something I love, I get the warm fuzzies from bringing fellow strat lovers together in some form of community, and I get to learn more about electric guitars and the people who play them. I do this in my free time, and the modest income generated from the ads should pay for the hosting and bandwidth costs (audio files eat a LOT of bandwidth).
